"by performing these duties, the rc works with the pi, research nurses/practitioners, research team, sponsor trust to support and provide guidance on the administration of the compliance, feasibility, and other related aspects of the clinical study during set up, maintenance and close out. working closely with the study lead of each trial, they are responsible for ensuring their allocated clinical trials are set up, managed/maintained and closed out in accordance with regulatory, sponsor and rd&i office requirements. the rc will be responsible for coordinating clinical trials from expression of interest to closure in accordance with good clinical practice (gcp), trust sops, sponsor requirements, regulatory standards and the nihr 150 day metric. they will support the ci/pi/delivery team by reviewing protocols, communicating study requirements, accessing relevant training for staff including maintaining training logs, compiling and maintaining delegation logs, set-up and maintenance of investigator site files/trial master files and ensuring all regulatory, r&d and sponsor approvals are in place before trial initiation. **certificate of sponsorship** applications from job seekers who require current skilled worker sponsorship to work in the uk are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. from 6 april 2017, skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the uk, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years."
