"the post holder will be expected to undertake their duties in line with the university s sponsor duties in relation to staff immigration matters, and ensuring that processes are in place to maintain the university s compliance of ukvi sponsor obligations. the post holder will be a point of contact for colleagues, in relation to cas issue and will maintain specialist knowledge of the student visa route and the university s responsibilities. the post holder will primarily be responsible for effective processing and administration of certificate of acceptance of studies statements (cas) which are required by new international applicants who need to apply for a visa to study at the university of hull. * liaise with the university immigration advisors on complex cases and form part of the borderline sponsorship decision making process inform system development needs and contribute to effective testing, implementation and training of partners and colleagues; for any informal queries please contact victoria simmons, immigration officer/cas officer, on v.simmons@hull.ac.uk"
